I know it's coming soon as I've contributed to the Conquering Northern China series! I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could watch their series on Amazon with amazon prime. For great behind the scenes footage and the making of the series, catch their YouTube videos - very entertaining. After watching this series i've learned that in China anything is food. I'm really looking forward to Conquering Northern China. If you enjoyed Long Way Round and Long Way Down by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman then you will almost certainly love this.
Both Serpent and C-Milk are down to earth and web site don't beat around the bush. This mini series is a great look into China's real life - away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist routes. This series is such a breath of fresh air. Which is what I like. I've only just discovered these two guys on Youtube and heard them talking about this series a few times, so it was a nice surprise to see it on Amazon.
Just caught up with these episodes on Prime. Th production quality is pretty good and some lovely footage. So I've just watched them all. The boys could have done a better job explaining this series was available on Amazon Prime as i found it by accident! Can't wait for the upcoming Northern series comes out this month - Nov 2017 What's really good about their style of film making is you get their 100% honest opinion - nothing held back good or bad. They'll show you the best and worst things China has to offer without sugar coating. I advise watching these guys youtube channels too and I hope they manage to make another series that is successful.
I'm subscribed to these guys on YouTube and like their work there. China's looks a beautiful country with a lot of history. I've watched these two guys on youtube for a while and love their content. . It would be cool if they could eventually end up expanding into other parts of Asia too. On the way back from work i was looking forward to catching a new episode which i rarely do so it must be good.
Can't wait for series 2! My only criticism is that it's far to short, I want more. . . . .
